Refund policy

Effective Date: November 1, 2024 

At Cen-Tex Smokers LLC, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our products. Due to the nature of our cooking equipment and our commitment to custom fabrication, our policies for cooking equipment and soft goods differ. Please read the following information carefully before making a purchase.

Cooking Equipment:

Our cooking equipment includes Offset Smokers, Low Country Cookers, Live Fire Cookers, and Live Fire Tools. Each piece is custom fabricated to order, ensuring the highest quality and tailored experience for our customers. Due to the bespoke nature of these products, no returns or refunds are accepted for cooking equipment purchases.

1. Order and Lead Time

  • Low Country Cookers, Live Fire Cookers, and Live Fire Tools: Lead times are generally estimated between **9 to 12 weeks** from the date of purchase, depending on demand and production schedules.
  • Offset Smokers and Custom Trailers: Lead times are generally estimated between 9 to 12 months. These items are not added to our fabrication schedule until a 50% non-refundable deposit is received.
  • Lead times are estimates and may extend during peak seasons or high-demand periods. We encourage customers to place orders early to avoid delays.

2. Peak Season and Production Timeline

  • During certain times of the year, increased demand may impact production schedules. Cen-Tex Smokers LLC will make every effort to meet estimated timelines but cannot guarantee a specific delivery date during high-demand seasons. Any significant timeline changes will be communicated promptly.

3. Payment Terms

  • Full Payment is required at the time of order for all Low Country Cookers, Live Fire Cookers, and Live Fire Tools.
  • For Offset Smokers and Custom Trailers, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your build in our fabrication schedule. The remaining 50% balance is due 10 business days before the completion date. 
  • We accept payments via Credit Cards (with a 2.9% processing fee) or ACH Payments.

4. Order Changes, Customizations, and Cancellations

  • Once an order is placed and payment is processed, no changes, customizations, or cancellations are permitted. Due to high demand and our commitment to a streamlined production process, all orders adhere to standard specifications without custom requests.

5. Shipping Arrangements

  • Customers are responsible for arranging their own shipping. Cen-Tex Smokers LLC will ensure the unit is safely loaded and secured for transport, but all logistics and coordination are solely the customer’s responsibility. Cen-Tex Smokers LLC does not manage transportation or third-party logistics.

6. No Refunds

  • All sales for cooking equipment are final due to the custom fabrication process. **No cancellations or refunds** will be granted once an order is placed and payment received.

7. Delivery and Pickup

  • Customers will be notified when their unit is ready for pickup or shipment. Cen-Tex Smokers LLC assumes no responsibility for delivery delays once the unit has been handed over for transport.

8. Warranty and Liability

  • Our products are crafted with durability and high-quality materials. We do not offer a formal warranty*on cooking equipment, as we trust our craftsmanship speaks for itself. When properly cared for, our cookers and tools are designed for longevity and performance.
  • Cen-Tex Smokers LLC is not liable for any damages, injuries, or incidents that may occur during the use, transport, or handling of our products. Please operate all equipment safely and responsibly.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • By completing the purchase of any cooking equipment, customers agree to these terms and conditions in full. Cen-Tex Smokers LLC reserves the right to update these terms as necessary. 

Soft Goods

Our soft goods include hats, shirts, and other merchandise items. We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases, and as such, we offer a return policy for soft goods under the following conditions: 

Return Eligibility:

  • Soft goods must be returned in new, unused condition, with all original tags and packaging intact, in the same condition they were received.

Return Process:

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Items must be shipped back to Cen-Tex Smokers LLC in their original packaging to qualify for a refund.

Refunds:

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Refunds will only be issued for items that meet the return eligibility requirements. Cen-Tex Smokers LLC reserves the right to refuse a refund for items that do not meet these standards.

Exchanges:

  • We currently do not offer exchanges. If you wish to replace an item, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order.

Damaged or Defective Items:
